Recently, I have become drawn to abstraction because of the lack of confines and the challenges of creating something provocative. It is big departure from my realism/surrealism style that had attention to fine detail. I am still in the discovery process of working in abstract style. I lose then finding myself in the process of trying to express something meaningful in colour, form and texture on canvas. This is now a personal journey of self-exploration and reinventing. My newest artwork is done using a variety of mixed media on canvas, wood panel and also vinyl records.
